After some tight last 16 ties, the 2025 Matchplay Championship quarter final draw has been made,
In the closest tie of the round, recently crowned ERUGC Amateur Champion Matty Raybould holed a clutch six footer at Kirk Ella's last hole (pictured above) to stay alive, before beating Hull's Ben Rozenbroek at the 19th. He will now play Simon Boddy (SNC) who accounted for Hull's George Clark 4&2.
There was another Scarborogh North Cliff - Hull tie with Tom Duck taking out Jacob Hodgson in a big hitting affair. Tom now faces Chris Spenceley of Burstwick who beat Cave Castle's Huxley Sawyer on the 18th green.
